Grilled Rib Steak
Prep Time: 30 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins

For this recipe you need:
  • 1 rib steak
  • 2 tablespoons of steak seasoning (of your choice)
Directions:
  1. Season steak and to room temperature for at least 30 mins
  2. Grilled to desired doneness
  3. Serve immediately

Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 1 hour

For this recipe you need:
  • 2 medium russet potatoes
  • 10 butter slices
  • 1/4 clove garlic, minced or grated
  • 2 slices thick cut bacon, chopped
  • 10 slices (small squares) old cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream
  • 2 green onions, chopped
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F
  2. Slice the potatoes thinly (about an 1/8 inch) without cutting all the way through the bottom
  3. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet
  4. Rub the garlic on the insides of the slices and then stuff the sliced butter between a few of the cuts
  5. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper
  6. Bake until crispy on the top and tender in the middle, about 1 hour
  7. While the potatoes are baking, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, chop when cooked
  8. Remove the potatoes from the oven and stuff the slices of cheese in between a few of the cuts
  9. Return the potatoes to the oven until the cheese has melted, approximately 5 minutes
  10. Assemble the toppings and remove the potatoes from the oven
  11. Top with with sour cream, green onions and bacon
Makes 2 servings.

Hasselback potatoes with all the toppings
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins

For this recipe you need:
  • 2 cups of brussel sprouts (washed and cut in half)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese flakes
  • Salt and pepper
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F
  2. Place brussel sprouts in a backing dish and drizzle olive oil on top and stir to coat evenly
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Bake for 20 mins or until tender
  5. remove from oven and top with lemon juice and parmesan cheese
  6. Toss and serve immediately
Makes 2 servings.
